Never understood why some of /v/ ever hated halo. It was probably the least cancerous and most enjoyable modern fps there was, considering call of duty was the one influencing and destroying the industry.

It was a good arena shooter with a fun campaign up until reach. I can only imagine the people who hate it never even touched it. At least now its getting the admiration it deserved.

CoD has always been trash, nostalgia can't salvage it. Halo was great up until Reach though.

It's not as fast or precise as Quake obviously, but it works for what it is. If you refused to have fun with Halo out of some sense of PC purism, I don't understand you.
