Tom Francis' tutorials are great, after I finish them I want to try and modify the tutorial game on my own to be like a hotline miami clone gameplay-wise.

Ive made a couple shitty little games in Python and want to try something bigger. Anyone know the best Python based engine/package to use?
>>388841440
Pygame is out there but I'm not sure if it has improved in last few years.
Godot has GDscript, which derives from python (http://docs.godotengine.org/en/latest/learning/scripting/gdscript/gdscript_basics.html).
I've never used python for gamedev purposes, so I'm not aware of other things.

Pygame, Pyglet, and RenPy is the best Python can offer.
