Japanese sales reports add up to 246,475 for July and 241,662 for August. US reports said 222,000 for July, but no August report yet. Production does seem to be increasing from the previous months, so I'd expect a higher shipment report for this quarter. Maybe over 7 million by the next report.

I would guess it's selling between 600,000 - 800,000 a month, has around 6 million sales as of now

September will have similar numbers but then an increase in October because of Super Mario Odyssey and the Holiday season, might go up to 1 million in both November and December

Yeah it's definitely a hit. Nintendo of Japan explicitly promised increased production in the fall, which is also when industry people speculated the NAND shortages from iPhone production would be less pressing. So I'm guessing we'll see a bump in October.

There's no doubt they'll ship over 1m in both November and December. I think they'd do that even if production was frozen at 600k and they had to stockpile units.
