Can we talk about how good the new King's Quest is? P-please? I really feel like that not enough people talk about it.
you'll literally never get more than a few responses in these threads sadly. i've tried multiple times. this game is underrated as fuck

We tried anon, we tried. I'm glad that you responded though :D

It's not very consistent. I don't like the gimmicky puzzles; I wanted more adventure.
The ending was pretty great though.

Yeah, I will concur that more adventure would've been nice. Episodes 2, 3, and 4 (especially 4) were a bit light on that. I did like a lot of the gags and the dialogue in 4 though.

*Episodes 3 and 4
What is the game like?
>>388789909
a Telltale game, but with some puzzles sprinkled about
This is how Telltale games should be
Watching a playthough of the first episode of this made me want to play the whole series, and some other Sierra and Lucasarts point and click adventures. They were good. 3, 4 and 6 were my favorites. I even liked 5, the most frustrating and boring one. But the original 2 is unsalvageable garbage. Fuck that game.
But I continue to have a shit PC so i haven't played this one yet. Oh well.

it can be played on a toaster my friend

This
A shame this game is forgotten by all while Life is strange is praised as a pearl
>>388790225
No you don't understand.
I had trouble running even Portal 2. Friend told me there's just not enough RAM. I only use it to emulate old stuff and watch 4 3 anime.
>>388790279
I am afraid to ask just how bad life is strange is.
>>388790405
that's unfortunate. what is your setup?
>>388790563
I use a PS2, a Gamecube, a Wii and a 3DS. Then this old thing for what I said. I should learn computers and maybe build a decent one but I'll save that for when I find a job and regain the will to live.
>>388790279
I don't think either is great, but they're both the kind of story-driven game I want to see built on. Cinematic, yet gives the player things to do besides make dialogue/moral choices. Telltale is trash.
I wish we'd get a new adventure game as good as something like pic related but with modern production values.

>King's Quest
Go on...

>>388788774
You can talk, anon. I'll watch you and stroke myself.

>>388788916
It was bland af dude
>>388792606
telltale didn't make it
What am I in for?
>>388794069
I'm wondering this too.
>>388794305
a comfy tale with god tier voice acting and a nice aesthetic
>>388795256
I don't know about this comfy nonsense but I'll take a look. Kind of a good time for me to play it because everything else I'm playing is Xcom 2 and ESL and Gwent so shifting gears to something that isn't sweating bullets and turn based might be nice and relaxing.
