That's not true. Flash move wasn't a thing until Celceta and it was removed from VIII. Seven has Flash Guard but it doesn't boost your attack like in Celceta and VIII. Seven is a much better game than Celceta.

Too bad Garland is a cake walk even on the highest difficulty. It's really disappointing, all other end game bosses put up a fight or have some gimmick to make it tough (like the eyeball laser from Durland 2) but Garland is just boring after you figure how to deal with his cheese attacks.

No? Some boss fight will softlock when you running the game on 60fps, but can easly fixed by running the game on 30fps for certain boss, you can switch back after finishing the fight.

I am actually still playing Oath in Felghana as it kicks my butt at the castle because I am playing on Nightmare (as I did with Ys:1&2 Chronicles+).

VI was the engine basis of OiF and Origin. While the gameplay is simpler, it's got a better story and setting with a strong sense of adventure. The environments are really great, too. Personally, I've replayed VI more than I have OiF and far more than I have Origin.

VI is one of the most monumental Ys games, because it was the revival of the series after nearly a decade. Appropriately, its story mirrors Ys I and II in various aspects.
