You can't do anything fun in Overwatch. You can't be creative with your playing, because the classes are so rigid and there are no real movement options that make for interesting situations. Say what you will of the TF2 updates, but even with the stock weapons, there is so much potential for interesting playstyles, situations and interactions.

Both of them stopped making TF2 videos, both of them moved to streaming instead of videos, and both of them left their main channel in the dust, and yet ster's the only one dealing with the TF2 community holding a grudge against him, his streams being boring and poorly hosted, and his youtube fans abandoning him.
Ster loves to say that the TF2 community is entitled and cried angrily about him not wanting to play TF2, and yet they all still adore Jerma and still hold him as an icon of the game, all because Jerma didn't spit in their faces when he left, disrespect the community that got him as high up as he was, and he didn't act victimized when players used to his TF2 content asked if he was going to make more(which they stopped when they learned he still made quality content without TF2). Then he acts like asking for good, worthwhile streams is being entitled, and his fans should be happy with Overwatch Comp stream #786, while Jerma's entire reason for being a content creator is to make people laugh and enjoy what he puts out. He gets angry when his youtube fans aren't happy with 5 hour overwatch streams, and says he doesn't NEED to make ANYTHING and they should be happy with whatever, he doesn't NEED your views, while Jerma's youtube fanbase made an amazing conversion to a twitch fanbase because Jerma's streams are cool, and his highlight videos can almost reach the quality of his old gaming videos, at a much faster pace.

While Overwatch is a garbage game by a garbage dev team, they accidentally made art with custom games. It's not as complicated or smart as coding a TF2 custom game, and it's much more limited, but being able to "dev" a game, and patching it, and taking advice from the "play testers", and making it into a fun, balanced mode, was one of the greatest game experiences I ever had. The high wore off, but the OW dev team accidentally made something great.
Being able to actually change a game for the better and not having my best hope being making a whining post on the forums hoping people agree with me and the devs wanted to listen was refreshing.
If they wanted to sell Overwatch as something not made to make money, but something made for fun, if Overwatch was shipped as a game built around custom modes and making wacky modes as THE PLAYER sees fit this weird FPS/MOBA game as a base, I would rate it a 7/10, from my current 0.
