I literally told everyone this would happen. They've started with the sex mods because they have a moralistic argument to use as an excuse and it's harder for people to complain about but they'll be coming after all free mods next. Expect to see sites like Nexus being taken down (the Bethesda game related areas at least) just before the release of their next game, with Bethesda using the fact that they now sell mods as the basis of a lawsuit/C&D order that people are using their IP unlawfully in a way that is harming and cutting into their profits.
People will defend it, they will say that Bethesda has every right to take those sites down for selling illegal mods so that people are incentivized to go to Bethesda's mod store.

We are about to enter the darkest time line. Prepare yourselves, download any mods for Bethesda games that are already out that you think you'll want to play with again at some point. Torrents will probably offer many of the larger mods but a lot of them are just gonna vanish forever when this hits.

And I assure you, this WILL happen. 100 percent guaranteed. This is what they've been trying to do this whole time, make mods into a source of profit. That can't happen with free mods getting in the way.
