Have you ever tried to force yourself to like a game but eventually just gave in and put it down? Pic related, I'm trying to get through all of the Zelda's and I couldn't.
I really liked Spirit Tracks. I never finished the game, but I played like the first two bosses and really enjoyed it. I always felt really sad for Zelda and her situation and that's what drove me to keep playing. Maybe the story gets more bullshit later on, idk
Just can't tolerate the MMO shit and meh combat anymore. It's not worth it.
Spirit Tracks would have been better if it wasn't a Zelda game. The novelty of escorting Phantom Zelda and tag-teaming or solving puzzles should have been a new IP. But yeah, even with those good parts included, it's still my least favorite game in the series OP.
I judge all Zelda tier lists based on whether or not they have Skyward Sword/Spirit Tracks at the bottom. If they don't I don't even read them.

Apologize for frustrating her so much.

The wise man doesn't even play those games. I saw the ship sinking when Wind Waker was released, so I finished that one and checked out of the franchise for the next two decades.

I like both ALBW and SS. Though I use cheats to disable Fi.
Spirit Tracks is legitimately good.
Phantom Hourglass is the worst Zelda game Nintendo has ever made.
I've played the first hour like a dozen times.

I enjoyed phantom hourglass. I couldn't bring myself to even finish skyward sword.

yeah i dropped spirit tracks for like three or four years till talking to someone that dropped it at the exact same point (some kind of shitty stealth thing with sentry eyes)
wound up challenging it after that and it was still fucking droll but at least i killed that shit

Bought Phantom Hourglass thinking it was gonna be a lot of fun, but I just couldn't bring myself to care about it.
I never finished it, either.
I literally can't get into the Witcher because the combat is pure cancer. I know to play it for the story and all but to get to the story you have to deal with that shit.

Twilight Princess. It's just so fucking bland.
>>388689649
spirit tracks is a little too easy for me, but i guess thats to be expected
other than that it felt like any other zelda save for stylus controls. gotta say though the mic stuff was a damn hassle
pretty much league in general

SMT Nocturne. I absolutely loved SMT 4, 4:A, and P5 but Nocturne's random encounters, frustrating level design and more than anything the shitty, tedious fusion system killed it for me. It's such a shame, I fucking loved the atmosphere.

Op here, I actually beat phantom hourglass. It wasn't my favorite but I didn't mind it that much.
To me,
Ship > Train
I just thought blowing the train whistle to clear animals out of the way of the tracks was fucking retarded. Maybe it gets better but my backlog is too big to waste time on things that aren't fun.
If I could get the game again I'd play it in a heart beat. I really liked the game for some odd reason even though I got stuck in a dungeon and never made it out.
Comfy as hell game.

Yea this is me. I fucking hat MMO style combat and it kills me because Xenoblade frequently gets called one of the best JRPGs of the generation.
Can't play FFXII for the same reason.

Did the same with ST, then came back a year or so later and forced myself to finish it. By far the worst Zelda games are those on the DS.
