They couldn't even be bothered to unlock all the transfer pak stuff in the VC release of pic related, and that's like a third of the content in the game.

Even Capcom (M2 actually) wasn't that lazy with the multiplayer-only chips in Mega Man Battle Network 2 on Wii U. They changed the code to have them be unlocked from the start.

This kind of thing is what pisses me off the most. I just bought that game a couple months ago with the stupid My Nintendo discount, but I hadn't gotten around to playing it yet. I doubt I'd ever be able to unlock everything now. Is there really no way to unlock everything through single player?

This game is so fucking good. I kinda got sad my parents bought it for me because we didn't have that much money and they could have spent it on another game that I'd like more (Ofc I said I loved it anyway, I was not a spoiled brat= but it turned out to be an amazing fun game, I loved how it played like an rpg and it's still one of my favourite games on the gameboy today
