Why are there so many VNs on PC? Isn't it boring as fuck

I would just play my handheld at my PC too

I do not go anywhere

I use laptops while laying on the bed.

Not as comfy as Vita but it's better than sitting on a sofa or desktop.

Why are you assuming I'm hunched over or even sitting on a chair? I read VNs lounging on my sofa or bed. And even then, it is entirely possible to sit on a chair and enjoy a book/game/movie/etc. You also forget that on pc a lot of people use controllers myself included so a keyboard doesn't even factor in.

Actually most of them are realeased for the PS Vita in Japan, that's why it's so successful there.
Since the Vita is dead over here we usually only get the Pc release

I have nothing against the medium in theory, but I've never played a VN I liked. Maybe it's because I read a lot of actual books and the writing is shit tier in most VNs, can anyone confirm?

You can find the most famous VN on all platforms in these days and i wouldn't "play" a VN like Umineko on mobile platform because i want the music to not sound like ass.
