At what age is the point where your skill at vidya is supposed to deteriorate? I'm 31 and I'm noticing I can't cruise through some games like I used to, though reflexes apparently start going at 40.

I'm 32 and the only thing that deteriorated is my ability to be focused on one thing for extended time. Reflexes should still depend on how much you practice.

Lost a lot of my ability to properly concentrate at 30, mostly just spend time on first person shooters nowadays with some old friends
I don't really feel like my reflexes got worse
Nearing in on 28 and I notice I can't pick up any FPS and be instantly good at it the same way I once could. These fucking teenagers, man.
>only 21
>feel like i get worse every time i play an FPS
31 here, having trouble recognizing layouts in single player games, like there is now so much density of environment that I can't focus on the game as well as I used to be
31
I can't really play FPS anymore, but I've gotten better at platformers.

What game is he playing?

Exercise regularly, meditate and you'll be fine.
>>388637005
this is more on the general skill level has risen rather than you actually getting smaller
>big fish in a small pond
>>388637796
That'll take away time from playing games though.

No idea, I'm 26 now and i can still play DDR decently, I'm not playing the 17-20 foot songs or anything but I can play most of the old heavy charts from Extreme/Supernova without breaking a sweat
As I've gotten older I've drifted more toward menu based games anyways and those don't require reaction time. Hopefully when I'm an old grandpa, if I make it that far, I'll be kicking back playing Dragon Quest and other RPGs all the time. Still love me a good platformer or puzzle game though so hopefully those skills don't die out

meant to say slower not smaller

My dad is 52 and he is still rocking diablo 2 ladder
