I forget what being thrown down The Well does to you in-lore but it's meant to be an automatic death sentence. You don't die per se but you're stuck in a land that really sucks alot of ass. You can apparently come up out of the well but it's a supreme hassle and it's difficult to hold onto to your individuality to form a coherent enough thought to even scheme properly to make it out of there or something like that.

If they can hone in on what made Tales Of the Borderlels or Batman pr Game of Thrones more or less memorable then I have high hope. I haven't even finished S3 of TWD but I feel if they made those seasons 6-10 episodes instead of trying to cram so much into 5 then I get the feeling the story would benefit from it.
