While bloodborne is an Infintly better game, due to the massive amount of other games and 3rd party support on the ps4 it doesn't sell as much as let's say Cod or some shit. I had a WIIU which i bought used to play all of its exclusives and then i sold it next year.
I also modded it and tried out Splatoon online for free.
Its not a bad game but i dont see how people can play it for hundreds of hours.
Althou to be fair i am not much of a multiplayer PVP shooter fan.
Over watch beta was like more then enough for me to get sick of the game after 3 days.
And its not that i am horrible at the games i just dont realy enjoy them that much.

Why would anyone think porting fighting games on a Nintendo console is a good idea? It would be especially bad on Switch considering it doesn't have a traditional d-pad nor a compatible arcade stick. Unless it's super casual or a cash grab like USF2, there's no reason to have fighting games on the Switch.

I'm assuming that ArcSys is waiting until Jubei is completely done until they release BBCFE for the Switch. Don't forget about BBCTB as well.

I think it is mostly because of how new the Switch is. Games take a long time to make, so if they couldn't exactly create a game for a system they didn't even know existed.

Another factor is playing it safe. I do think there is a market for these games on Switch, but it can't really be guaranteed until it is given a fair chance, which has yet to really happen.

Switch has been out less than a year. Any meaty game needs at least two years minimum development time unless you have some pre made port (see capcom, lego, Mario kart).

Other than that western third parties seem to hate Nintendo and Japanese third parties only put in effort if they are making money.

Yes and no.
The switch is a lot more powerful than the 360 or PS3 when you run vulkan like code on it, because the GPU supports every single modern DX12 tier feature, and when actually using those features, you get shit like 4x bump in pixel count.
Fast racing neo vs fast RMX is still the best example of what i mean, because in both games, they tried to use UE4 like effects like PBR and ambient occlusion, but the old GPU on the WiiU (that is significantly faster than the GPU on the PS3/360) need to run the game at 640x720 with temporal reconstruction to be able to reach the 60 fps target frame rate, meanwhile the switch runs the game at 1920x1080 with drops to 1600x900 at the same frame rate and even more visual effects.

But it still don't hold a candle to a PS4.

Anybody without clear damage gets any "entertainment" out of Splatoon after one or two matches. There is nothing new, there is nothing that can change how each is played, its a game for literal 10 year olds.
