Yes absolutely. I dont care for singleplayer fps but doom4 does it right. Its fun as fuck, story is there if you want to read in to it but it isnt shoved down your throat. I was upset that /v/'s shitposting on the game turned me off from playing it for so long.

It starts off pretty bad though, but thats mostly due to trying to ease you into the game a bit but the further you progress the better the game becomes. Fighting the tougher demons is so much better than the imps and with the arsenal you carry with you, its just great.

Also the mp is good, dont sleep on it.

Doom-Doom2-Doom64, doomguy stays in hell forever, raises hell in hell, demons get tired of his shit, trap him. In there, he lives through the wads, which is a great acknowledgement on how Doom has remained alive through the community.
Doom 3 starts random space marine in a similar situation, even finds doomguy's tomb.

Out of the four female characters available so far, Nyx is pretty curvy and your typical blue-haired sci fi chick, Galena is an undead paladin lady and has no reason to be lewd, Sorlag is a lizard, and Slash is more clothed than her Q3A version but has a backstory about being a meth head and meeting Anarki in a shooting gallery, has voice lines about always being on the receiving end, and has an unlockable skin with bump-mapped nipples. I don't think- or I hope, anyway- that they won't shy away from making a properly under-dressed, over-developed and bronze-skinned 6'6" tower of underboobs and muscle, just the other characters haven't really had a reason to be overly lewd yet.

It's his left arm, the one with the wires running into and out of it. His right arm is 100% robotic (obviously) and both legs have been replaced; note he has robotic claw feet now instead of the flat-bottom shoes he had in Q3A to attach to his hoverboard.

I agree that both are far less monstrous looking now, but really, the whole game is. Different art style for sure- take a look at Visor, no longer is he half made of literally rotting green skin that's peeling off and bleeding from his portholes everywhere. I would have loved to see those horrible faces-attached-by-an-inch and welded-on visors and shades in a modern rendition, but beggars can't be HUHsers.

Well... there was some goofiness in Q3A character design I would mind you (like Anarki sewn shut face - reason? nobody knew until he started talking in QC). Visor look isn't much changed in QC comparing to his appearence in Q3A - It's still cyborg, but for now he's mostly cyborg with streched on skin from his previous body. Yeah, they shove all the implants from Slash to Anarki but because of those I always found her as rule 63 of him. And about goriness itself - they went more into Q1 cthulhu style instead of satanistic/occult/gore with cyber mix like it was in Q3.

So far there haven't been any skins form Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, but that might be because Activision was involved with the game, and tried to kill the community by killing the official forums. Would be nice to see some love for this game, I mean, Brink is now free to play, why not ETQW? It still has more players than brink did before it went f2p recently.
