Not really anon, these games they are talking about will not be out for two years or so.

Oculus and Vive have both dropped their price, and both companies are releasing v2 of their headsets within the next year, so it'll drop down in price even more. The next models likely won't be as expensive either as tech gets cheaper to make (See: History of cell phones).

By the time Valve start throwing out their VR titles, VR itself will still be a high end niche but not completely unheard of.

So recently got back into HL2 before this whole fiasco and I realized something when looking for skins.

There are so many shit fucking skins in for this game. The good ones seem awfully rare. I know its an old game(which people are still making skins for) but shit, you think some of them would of gotten a bit more skillfull by now.

Every single smg/AR skin I download either has one flaw or another. Either they have shit animations, or awful sound, or clip or just look like shit in the actual game.

They're all on the store page (for Episode 1) under "community content" or some such. Also they appear to be stand-alone now (or maybe they always were and I only just realized it recently) so you don't even need to have HL2/Ep1 installed. Research and Development might be on moddb only iirc.
