Get a difficulty mod or something.

Just download Oblivionxp or some other alternate leveling mod. Default level-up system is shit.

I used to play morrowind and skyrim but eventually got tired of them.

Mod it. Max difficulty just makes enemies into meat sponges.

Literally dont level up, and play the game scaling skills and use the preplaced items like umbra and shopkeeper uniques, efficent leveling is a retarded meme waste of time, archery and unarmed fall off rapidly as you level, its more balenced to just avoid it altogether, raise the difficulty when things get easy, in this format you can still "outgrow" the game world like morrowind

Just mod it so your attributes level up equally with your skills.
