These always got me. In a collection of alien races dedicated to warfare, from pirate birds to collections of worms piloting armor, they've captured a species of biomechanical autism, that just wants to fix shit.

And then they attached explosives to them to stop them from going and fixing everything, including enemy tech, indiscriminately
