Then it grades you on your responses and you get a type, Extraverted or Introverted etc. Nothing horoscope like about it, you are actually inputting information about yourself, and receiving traits and generalized preferences on who you are.

Despite being INFP I think hippies and that sort should be slapped and told to get a job, which is contrary to what the personality type says is that I embrace this type of attitude.

The problem is that the questions are designed in such a way that they don't actually provide you with a meaningful or in any way informative or reliable conclusions. There is no actual logic to how it connects your answers to the conclusions, and the conclusions themselves are poorly defined and misleading.

The only reason why Myer-Briggs is popular is because it gives people a vague, false sense of superiority and something to brag about.

If you want a test that will actually give you info that is in some way helpful, informative or reliable, do yourself a fucking BIG FIVE test or something. This shit is purely masturbatory.

These MBTI "types" are completely superficial and made-up labels brainlets love to use because it reaffirms what they believe their own personality is like. Half the time you'll even get a different label than the usual because they change depending on how you feel/how you answer subjective questions. Besides that, thoughts and personalities are far too complex and varying to fit into even a thousand of these "types", much less 16.

If you take absolutely the slightest stock in these tests (or the "political compass") you're a mouth-breathing brainlet and need to just sterilize yourself.
