Kill the console and put all that extra money into marketing PC. Hire some people who know what the fuck they are doing to re-do the whole windows store and also make it useable on Win7 while hoping the Windows side of Microsoft makes a better OS that isn't all about spying and other bullshit they pulled with Win10 so you can get the Win7 users to upgrade

Easy.

Create two new Xbox systems; Xbox S and Xbox X. The Xbox S is an all around entertainment system with gaming capabilities, looking to compete with existing entertainment devices (like the Apple TV) and easily fit into any families living room. The Xbox X is a gaming only focused system aiming for high performance gaming with game streaming capabilities, the type of console a PC only gamer wouldn't mind owning. Both consoles would be capable of backwards compatibility gaming with previous Xbox consoles. To alleviate the issues of backwards compatibility and no disk drive being in the Xbox S or Xbox X, I'd also offer a trade in program where when people traded in their old game to us, we'd add a digital copy to their account (and sell the physical copies to GS or Amazon :^)).

After this was done, I'd then approach companies, both foreign and domestic, to create original gaming content for the Xbox S and Xbox X systems exclusively. Some titles would be fan begged remasters/remakes of titles and the rest would be new, highly ambitious titles.

As for flagship series, like Halo or Gears of War, I'd bring them back to their roots and look to change the DLC model to be both beneficial to the community and us as a company. Also, I'd give us a very modern OS inspired the Blades with the Original Xbox ambient noise.
