I wasn't one of those people who jumped on board expecting it to be GOTYAY, but when I really tried it about a year ago I wasn't super impressed. A pretty unmemorable experience overall. I was looking to give it another shot, but unless they've made some serious changes and added in more content I don't think I'd enjoy it any more than I did.

In what way could you improve planetary exploration? I'm making a mod to fix combat but there's still literally nothing to do.

When I last played my framerate took a shit if I zoomed out to the highest setting (which I prefer because the medium setting is too fucking close), is it still like that?

Supposedly, they were going to have races have different abilities, but people complained about how it would make certain races unbalanced and OP, so they axed the idea. They even had racial weapons before the 1.0 update, but scrapped them for generic stuff. I wish they would have kept them in. It would have added in much needed replayability to the game.
