you said comfy so you're lucky you didn't get a bunch of shitposters coming here. that word triggers a lot of dumb fucks.

City builders are great (so, Banished, Cities:Skyline, etc)
Some survival games are pretty damn comfy like The Long Dark
>>
>>388451249
>>388452645
you gotta post memes and clickbait these days to rake in the (You)s anon.

Test Drive Unlimited 2 is basically rich person vacation simulator. Enjoy leisurely driving around the massive islands of Ibizia and Hawaii. just don't expect to play online (it's ded jim), bring your own music, and don't expect good driving physics.

I've been playing some Blood Money recently while watching netflicks. No controller support but changing a few controls around makes it fine with keyboard and mouse.

I don't know if I would call it "comfy" but most of the levels are really fun to screw around in.
>>
>>388451249
GTA 4, Bully, Minecraft on peaceful mode, Syberia, Grim Fandango and other point and clicks, very comfy genre. World of Goo is nice too. Used to get comfy in Mafia 2 free ride, just driving around listening to old tuned.
>>
>>388451249
dragon's dogma is comfy...kinda. cassardis is my favorite starting world so it might just be me. It is a fairly pretty game and has a medieval setting with greek mythology monsters. Its pretty great.

And even thought one is a mediocre collectathon and the other is in early access, the ty the Tasmanian tiger games all have that Australian aesthetic that is top tier comfy. Of course, thats if you are comfortable with playing a child's game. keep in mind, these games are not known for having spectacular controls.

Slime rancher is also comfy, but repetitive.

Just cause 2 and 3 are one of the most comforting games if you just fly around the islands without fucking shit up. The hot air balloon from just cause 2 is great. Just flying that thing through the dessert at night, man its great.

Think that is all I can think of from the top of my head that is in my steam library.

Love TDU2. Plenty of fun. Highly recommend it. And i dont Even play car games.

Hitman 2016's levels are basically luxury vacation spots
Blood Money has a comfy suburb, Mardis Gras, casino, the white house, can recommend either

>>388455337
the audio in general was a shitshow
>voice acting from interns
>bitrate was youtube-rip.mp3 tier
>some cars had infinite gears
>TWO radio stations, both cringe with like 12 songs total
>>
>>388455449
THE PRESSURE OF THE COMPETITION IS REALLY STARTING TO SHOW
>>
>>388455641
I was going to namedrop the suburb level in particular. I'm tempted to get Hitman 2016 watched like 1 minute of footage of this cruise ship level looked really good. I like when you're in public sandbox areas with civilians. Still have to at least try Hitman 5 first thought since it's in my library already (I've heard nothing but bad things).

Oblivion is another comfy game. Another without controller support but I can spend all day just chilling out in the imperial city. Get he mod that lets you arrive in cyrodiil by boat to skip the tutorial and ignore the main story.
>>
>>388451249

Dust force
kingdoms & castles
Jotun
Reus
Element4l
Banished
Mount & Blade
Bastion
Proteus
Valkyria Chronicles
Fable
Kingdoms of Amalur (far more fantastical but still p comfy)
Recettear
Stardew Valley
>>
>>388451249

Subnautica is equal parts pants shitting terror as you explore the unknown and comfy base building.

Meh, Hitman Absolution is only redeemable if you play it like a normal stealth game, and even then it's kinda mediocre. Plus on AyyMD cards there's a glitch that can literally induce seizures if you restart the second level.
The cruise ship level is a decent tutorial, the OTHER 2016 tutorial level (the faux military base) is basically a blood money sized level with nearly as many opportunities and room for improvisation. The main six episodes vary from decent to GOTYAY, with Sapienza being the standout, and Paris/Hokkaido being similar quality.
Also, ignore the Jesper Kydd whiners, the main soundtrack is fine, and all the diagetic music is beautiful in-context
silvio caruso did nothing wrong
>>
>>388453990
Yes this game was fun to explore but the driving physics really were sub-par.
>>
>>388457969
yeah, im a filthy casual when it comes to racers so I didn't mind. if you aren't i can see why it may not be worth it
still, putting on chill/glitchwave and driving around, good summer shit

>>388451249
The Witness and World to the West.
>>
>>388460220
The witness was comfy until I discovered the secret puzzles and then I got a headache from riding the boat around trying to line shit up.
>>
>>388451249
Infinifactory.
Subnautica.
>>

This game was a lot more fun when I used my G27 with 900 degrees steering. Made the awful driving physics feel more realistic.

I have a house there, the beaches and nature are perfect, but the influx of tourists have caused a kitsch transformation of many towns and neighbourhoods. You have to keep away from the tourist hotspots if you want to avoid vomiting from your eyeballs.
>>
>>388462282
A wheel did nothing for me. In fact I went back to a controller.
>>
>>388462658
Isn't that all of Greece though?
The truly best parts are the ones away from the tourist hotspots.
>>
>>388462658
do you need to be a millionaire to own a house near a place like this?
>>
>>388462829
Not the same anon, but no.
Most people who own houses at these places had them before they turned into tourist hotspots.
>>
>>388453382
That being said. Xbox is way better than PlayStation. Deal with it losers
>>
>>388462807
Nah man, I know many tourists that come to Greece exactly because it hasn't been transformed. Building more restaurants for tourism and allowing job growth isn't a bad thing, as long as it's regulated. I know recently that many people are visiting the Peloponnese because it's untouched for example. Most top notch beaches in Zante and other islands don't have infrastructure nearby to protect the natural beauty.

Which is exactly why the bad neighborhoods in Zante stand out so goddamn much.

>>388462829
It's not next to the shipwreck, it's in the main city, but you can travel by car easily. And no, houses in the city don't cost that much to rent. Although ours is passed down from older generations, not bought.
>>
>live near all these beatiful places
>people pay thousands to visit them
>I'm just staying at home all day, playing vidya and shitposting, even when at our vacation house
What do anons?
>>
>>388451249
go there like 15 years ago
everyone one the ship was vomitting lul

Get a gf and go to the beach with her, obviously.
>>
>>388463643
But I'm not interested in 3DPD...
>>
>>388463436
I try to balance the time spent. I'm pretty much the same as you, so I go for a swim every day and stay in the sea as much as possible, for whole afternoons, without pause. Making up for the shitposting time in a way. Although sometimes when I am in the sea alone enjoying the calmness and my thoughts I can't help but wonder how it would be if I could share this experience with a gf, like so many other people.
>>
>>388463804
Get your waifu pillow then, I dunno
>>
>>388463837
I'm fat so I'm too ashamed to go to the beach. Haven't been there in over 10 years.
In retrospect, every year I wonder why I followed my family to our vacation house.
>>
No Mans Sky is max comfy. New updates added more features too
>>
>>388464110
Who gives a fuck what you look like? I didn't tell you to go flirt with girls at the beach bar... I just swim as deep as I can and float, away from all the people. Nobody sees me, nobody judges me, I just lie there happy and without a care in the world.

I follow my family because it's become kind of a tradition by now, we go there every summer. And most importantly, it's a way to spend time with them. I'm studying abroad, so I don't get to see them for the majority of the year. There's only so many years that your parents will live, the few relaxed moments you can spend with them, spend them.
>>
>>388464805
Good post right here.
>>
>>388453376
The problem is that comfy is a totally subjective word, like "fun". What comfy means is totally different from person to person.
Asking for a comfy game is like asking "tell me some games that I'll like" - it's a useless question because there's no answer to it without OP elaborating on what exactly he enjoys and finds comfy.

>tfw no secluded beach house somewhere at a warm place to surf and swim everyday and then play vidya
>>
>>388465317
Not really. Comfy implies it is a game you can sit back and relax with. City building games and Truck simulator for instance.
>>
>>388465489
Come one anon, we both know you'd just stay home all day anyway and watch anime and shitpost, while hating all these normies that go to the beach with friends every day.
I'm projecting a bit too hard, aren't I?
>>
>>388466184
I'm not trying to shame you or anyhting anon, but you can love vidya and still go to the beach with (or without) your friends.
>>
>>388462829
Their houses certainly don't look like they are owned by millionaires
Half of them have entire floors and rooms unfinished so they can live in it and avoid taxes
>>
>>388466673
>entire floors and rooms unfinished so they can live in it and avoid taxes
how does that let em avoid taxes?
>>
>>388467758
They say the building is "still under construction" as long as that is the case they don't have to pay tax
>>
>>388468074
Does Greece have an IRS-equivalent that can bust people for trying to pull fast ones like that?
>>
Stardew Valley
Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist and the Mysterious Book
I Am Setsuna
Phantom Brave PC
A Boy and His Blob
>>
>>388468958
Probably not since at least 3/4 of the buildings outside of the capital on Zante were "Under construction" with the only exception being the hotels and some of the resturants
>>
>>388468958
Yes, but that shit is so widespread it's almost impossible to catch them all.
They can't really control what happens in every island and every village.

Literally every family in Greece has some kind of 'house at the village' passed down from grandparents or whatever.
And when the new generations decide to renovate or rebuild these houses, there's no real way to check that there's a brand new 3story house where the papers say should be a stone shack from 1920.
And especially so in islands and villages where everyone knows each other and are very unlikely to snitch on their neighbours.

Define comfy I guess. Someone recommended Subnautica (inb4 shill) and the early parts are pretty comfy especially during the day just swimming around the reef and shit but then you need to go into deep water and it's dark and there are huge sea creatures and sharks and shit
If you like city builders Caesar 3 is pretty nice.
