Why aren't tanks more popular like mechs? I want to see an armored Core like tank game.

Is this an alternate universe
>>388435908
Is that a name of a game or what?
>>388435623
Because tanks in general are boring in videogames unless it has other elements to it (infantry/aerial combat).
Mechs are pure rule of cool. Not only do they resemble us in a bigger scale, but walking machines are infinitely cooler to look at than a rolling box.

Tanks have their own cool points though.
>>388436592
what is this and where can I play it
>>388436896
sadly not the most fun to play in a video game

I mean firing a 120mm cannon is alright but the novelty wears off quickly. It's just a box with a gun mounted on top. It's slow at everything except when moving in a straight line, and not nearly as menacing when not in great numbers. In World of Tanks for example you're just peeking out from behind buildings or hills to shoot at other distant boxes from time to time.
Meanwhile in the mech area you have badass shit like webm related.

It's a cancelled korean game.

Real tanks, yes but this is video game we talking about. You can make a lot of cool things with it.

Then you'd get Girls und Panzer, which was a fucking ridiculous show.
Well, what about a game about tanks VS mechs?

>fucking ridiculous
You mean fun.
Even a tank thread is not popular. Sad.
would like a turn based tank/vehicle tactics game
