It's literally more of the same but now the guns and reflex sights look old and shitty and you get to explore exciting locals such as an interchangeable trench, a barn and some shitty wooden houses in a field.

The CoD formula is fun enough but these grandpa wars are literally the worst possible settings. Same goes for Battlefield.

gotta say, i was really hyped for a modern WW2 shooter, but after playing CoDWWII, I gotta agree with you. Cold War and modern setting are far superior to WW1 and WW2. I would love it if CoD went back to the MW setting which was like fifteen minutes into the future with its high tech drones, thermal vision, and sentry turrets. MW2 made me feel like a one man army with all the cool weapons, but I guess that kind of goes against the idea of a team based shooter.

Pretty fun. But maybe a bit too easy. With every cod, as long as you have a brain cell, you'll be near the top of the table. But with this game it's just too easy.

Other than that though,its pretty good. Beats out battlefield with no problem (which isn't saying much though)

I'm playing on PS4 and I absolutely hate how nobody but me has headphones. When I played CoD on the 360, nearly every lobby had 10 people with headphones on. Part of what makes CoD a blast to play is vocally cooperating with your teammates.

Is there WaW style gore, guys? That was a huge part of what made the atmosphere so heavy, it was the fact that when you clipped someone in the leg with a BAR you saw shards of bone and bits of meat fly everywhere, and they were left rocking back in forth in agonized shock.
