Furi was alright. It suffered from only being a boss rush. Some of the bullet hell sections were absolutely awful, such as against the sniper (forgot her name). Her last phase has moments that are bullshit to dodge properly. Also for some reason after a certain amount of time my game just stopped functioning properly and I could no longer run it without stuttering.

An indie dev made a better PunchOut! than Nintendo.

It's incredibly difficult, but fair and rewarding.
He has like 9 phases, one for each boss in the main game with the exception of The Star, and each one features that bosses mechanics upped to eleven.
If you enjoy a challenge, this guy is fucking incredible.

It was designed around it though. The combat is too simplistic to make for a 10 hour hack and slash game. It really is just a puzzle game like punchout but with 3D movement.

I have a dualshock3 somewhere, but I can't really be bothered to get it out. 5 hours is a pretty significant amount to time to invest for me over the course of roughly 3 days and if I broke it up over a longer period of my life i'd lose interest/practice. I have a ton in my backlog and i'm already trying to fix my being a lazy bum without a real job. Furi just isn't that amazing.

Who is the best boss and why is the Burst. It was probably the one I died to the most, but everything about the fight was amazing. Creative moveset, great voice acting, great setup, and great music to top it off. Final phase was pretty gay though.

Best fight is probably song for me just cause it had a bit of everything without a bullshit mechanic like Burst did. Edge would be up there but took off a few points for being melee only, really do love all the unique stuff he brought like suddenly making the game 2d.
I did die the most to burst but it was a lack of understanding how the fight works and how to get her into a hit stun.
