No, it is a clear example of JRPG writing that isn't the worst thing on earth like most of them

It's not the writing so much as the pacing and linearity. P3/P4 were a little bit too far on the sparse side as far as monthly shit going on, but P5's solution is nonstop text barrages of

Literally every goddamn day. That combined with the bloated pre-dungeon sequences, some of them taking a week or longer to sludge through, made a lot of months a major bore. And strangely enough it still feels like the phantom thieves have less fun side activities than SEES or PT, I mean their school trip is 90% bitching about how boring the school trip is.
