Forza 6 is my favorite right now but Forza 7 drops in a month
Project Cars is also pretty good but PC2 is coming out soon
AC is top tier too
Dirt Rally is great
If you want to get autistic get Iracing and go to /ovg/ and race with them
What ever you do though do not buy Gran Turismo. I picked a cheap PS3 and GT6 recently and holy shit it's so outdated it's not even funny. Forza 2(2007) is better and this is coming from an old GTfag

Project CARS 2 runs great on my 1070.

Forza and PC are simcades and damn good ones. PC is closer to sim than Forza but they have their pros enough. PC is 70% pure racing, 30% cars. Forza is 70% cars, 30% racing.
If you have a Xbox 360 start with Forza 4 which imo is the best in series right now and go from there. Also do like I mentioned and go to /o/ and find /ovg/ they have more than enough info from games to wheels. Also neither have rally.
Forza Horizon 1,2 and 3 have that kinda and Dirt Rally is a pretty good rally sim

There are two types of forza.
Forza horizon is arcadey with and open world like burnout paradise. You can drive around the map and start races at set locations.
Forza motorsport is more simulation where you drive around tracks.
