Are they even doing this? Or is it simply one giant joke? Maybe they are doing it but it takes them so long due to trying to make a perfect Birkin with his transition between malformations. That would be an explanation for it, but at this point they could release something. ANYTHING.

People may have forgotten this thanks to all Ubisoft / EA -made assembly line release schedules, but making proper AAA games from scratch takes a lot of time. Doesn't help that Capcom's mostly busy milking out more paid DLC for RE7 at the moment.

Why do newcomers to RE1 get memed into dodging zombies in tight corridors? It seems like they'd just fail aga8n and again and get discouraged. I figured out to alternate beretta and knife on them and scraped by with just enough ammo early on, it really feels like the intended way to play.

Man I love RE3 its one of my games I still beat from time to at least once a year even done a knife only run. I now and forever will always prefer Dino crisis.

RE 1 can be convoluted and RE2 is very famous for it. I would go for the 3rd game it has the best mechanics and its not insanely convoluted though it has its moments. There is some backtracking while fixing the train but after that its fairly straight foward. If you could tell me what your issue is I could give advice.
