It's not as good as Island but it's worth a shot, it's a well made game that focuses more on exploring levels and building a cozy atmosphere.

They'll never make a good Yoshi game as Island, sadly.

other games let you replay the whole level as a punishment if you as much as touch an enemy. yoshi's island is more generous, it lets you live but you have to tolerate his crying.

OP, ignore the trolls.
It's a really great game. But doesn't reach Yoshi's Island.

The S-levels (unlockables) are really difficult. Then there is another level to unlock, which is really long, but not as difficult as the regular S-levels. Then there is a boss fight trial, where the bosses are way faster, which gets quite difficult.

It runs at rock solid 60 fps on new 3DS.

I own it on both the Wii U and the 3DS.
