Name one thing he did wrong. The Half Life 3 script proves that yo- uh, we humans can't challenge the combine. Face it, collaboration is the only answer.

Sort of makes me wonder. Is G-Man actually an agent of the combine? He made those scientists create that resonance cascade in order for the combine to easily spot and take over the earth. He even uses Freeman as a sort of puppet to lead the resistence to create this false sense of victory which leads up to the Borealis being completely useless
Breen is Lordgenome
Freeman is Simon

>works for the combine
>destroys the borealis so the combine don't get it
pick one

He is a rogue advisor, G-Man is just his physical form.

You're not human anymore, Breen. You can't say "we humans."
You disgusting grub.

Look at all incidents in human history regarding colonisation from a superior culture into a weaker, backward culture.
If ya resist, you're either wiped out or forever cursed - Korea, Vietnam, Native Americans ect.
If you collaborate, shit starts going well, then when both cultures level out as the same, which takes a few decades, you break away peacefully and prosper independently - India, South Africa ect.

>HL3 script
It was the episode 3 script. Obviously the ending was a setup for actually destroying the combine in HL3
>>388374264
But the ending literally just proved the Combine cannot be beaten

They'd just probably write in some more reality-wapring tech for Gordon to reach and use to travel FAR back and defeat them before their rise to power even began. Or something even trippier, likely.
What the fuck was even the point of the Episode 3 script
>they traveled to Antarctica just to destroy some ship
>doesn't change anything anyway
Marc Laidlaw is a fucking hack.
>>388375384
It's Gordon.
Hell Alyx as the new G-Man agent would probably arrive at the right time in the wrong place again.
