Nah. I'm not going to buy her game because I don't like the character too much, and in my game killed her for her part in the Assassination of the empress. I would prefer to play as someone new, or a character I liked like Corvo. I'm fine with them bringing back a character from the dead too, as long as they justify it in some way that makes sense, but why wouldn't they just make it Daud in that case? Also time travel makes me worried, it's not ever done well when you make it a big focus of the story and not some one-off thing like the mansion level.

I'm interested in how the gameplay changes now that all her powers are run on a mana cooldown rather than a hard mana count. Being able to use powers without worrying about finding a thousand elixers will be nice, although some of the powers seem really OP. Void walk seems overly powerful when you can pair it with the marker system Billie uses to teleport.

Also the face-off power is getting me into Hitman territory, but I wish it didn't drain mana as you walked.

She seems to play differently in terms of stealth and combat, and all her powers are unlocked by default. The devs said that this let them open up the levels a lot more because they took every playstyle into account from the get-go.

Also the decision was apparently made because not many people used powers that actually removed mana, while sticking primarily to blink and dark vision. The only power people used that used mana was time stop, but nobody really liked to use wind blast or rat swarm.
