I think it'd be interesting if they buffed everyone's HP to discourage the OHKO meta. Things like Niles and Felicia in Tempest Trials 1 made it clear that giving everyone greater bulk helps stop nukes from completely dominating, and gives things like Res tanks a better niche.

100% F2P player. I started with 38 potions and ended with 17, that including all the potions obtained from the quests during those 2 weeks, and Genny as the only boosted unit I had, which only got 1.2x multiplier. It is very possible for F2P, but kind of exhausting without a unit with 40% boost.

I have been playing since day 2 or 3 this was launched. I was enjoying it, but this month (August), they just flooded the game. There was tons of banners to pull, tons of events to clear, tons of achievements, tons of new units, new abilities...it was overwhelming. I didn't want to try new units anymore, I didn't want to just fill out my collection and slowly raise levels, none of it.

Worst of all, I've been pull Blues, AND ONLY BLUES, ALL MONTH LONG, AND ONLY ON THE SUMMER BANNER for that damned magic flier. Nothing. I got a dupe Ninian so far, and there's...4 days left? This is bullshit. I want to say I've spent 100 orbs or so exclusively for FemCorrin and I haven't gotten her. More Shannas, Sullys and Donnels than I ever want to see again.

So...I think I'm just done with the game. I've got an excellent horse emblem and all the GHB units to 4* (at least) so I don't think I care anymore.

I'd only use Boost skills on a 45+ HP character in my opinion, I just don't find them reliable enough. Fortress Def and Close Def are still better, and with Def buffs she can reach some insane Def stat. It all depends if you want to build her based on player or enemy phase, but considering her average Spd stat, I'd recommend a more defensive approach.

No need to be like that, I have no idea what you mean when you're talking about what you don't understand in this game, some people don't realize there are IVs and such so I just threw that out. Yes, most characters are built in very similar ways if they fill archetypes, and you have to inherit the good skills onto them if they don't have them built in.

Orbs you have to play a lot for. They come from Quests, the Special maps often offer Orbs as part of their rewards (The Time Trial maps will give you 1 Orb for every one you're able to clear the first time), you can get up to 4 every week from Arena, etc. It's a slow grind like all mobile games but it's still """better""" than most. Also the first unit you summon from a banner is free now, so don't forget about that.

I think archers in general are actually going to see more use for future Infernal missions. IS seems to know about how powerful mages are, judging by all the high res enemies they've been stuffing into endgame content.
I've also seen a lot of Kleinfags having a fairly easy time with the new content. Archers, aside from Cordelia, might not be the greatest in high end Arena, but they seem to be pretty strong for PvE.

I find Quick Riposte to be a godsend with ISIS new policy of "Pump all the stats up to the nth degree". It's almost the only way I actually can get doubles on people. +Speed QR Ike has been the MVP of my entire barracks for basically forever, because he avoids getting doubled by essentially everyone after a speed buff, but he doubles everyone back with QR. If that doesn't kill them, they almost always die on the player phase. His physical bulk usually lets him get two procs of it, assume he doesn't Aether himself back to high HP.

I was thinking of doing Nino or Fir on the school banner as a student (red mage) but I wanted there to be two girls and two guys and it was either replace the Incest Twins with Nino/Fir and maybe Ike or move Nino to Haloween as I couldn't think of a good fourth unit for that one.
