I'm not disappointed that the game will never come out, I only played through 1 and 2 once.

I am disappointed however in the industry that leads things like this to happen. Why release a great single player game when you can make some funny hats, loot boxes, and online childrens card games?

Didn't read it because I never gave a single shit about the franchise dating all the way back from the release of Half-Life 1. Not trying to be some edgy contrarian; I was just never interested in it even after playing the games.

I realised that valve missed the deadline for a hl3 a long time ago and any game they could put out had a high possibilty of flopping becuase of the expectations. As such they never risked releasing a hl3. It was nice to get some closure but I'm not suprised that it's dead
