It just gets kind of old after a while with the filler main missions and the repeated side missions. It's definitely a fun and well polished game though.

I enjoyed Yooka-Laylee. I don't think it was as good as the Banjo games and did have some issues (and a bullshit final boss), but I would back a sequel if they were to make one.

Which tonic were you using and which part did you find?
Generally you want to be using the quick stamina recover so you can forcefield through moves, and with his jumping attack his last move where he fails doesn't create the projectile rings

This. I'd say it's overall slightly weaker than Tooie. It's still quite enjoyable, but it has the usual flaws of 3D Collectathon Platformers with big worlds, like Tooie, but coupled with modern issues like not meeting the standard of quality modern game-players have come to expect and the fact everything looks mediocre in the Unreal engine.

I hated the casino because of all the collect tokens mechanic but it was not bad and had some nice minigames
Last one was ok and colorful but not as great as the first ones.

There was no reason for this game to be on the ps4. Its basically a bad ps2 game with ps3 graphics.

Winter is the best level bar none. First level is the second best.

All the other 3 have some fatal flaw that makes them ok at best.
Swamp is the most egregious as far as being randomly strewn about goes and is visually the worst (How someone thought the ENTIRE level being the same fucking color as Yooka was a good idea is beyond me)
Capitol Cashino's layout feels like it's supposed to be a parody of collectathons (Giant box, with a bunch of things pushed u[ against the walls and randomly strewn about in the middle) and coin system makes everything feel unrewarding.
Galleon Galaxy was the everything strewn about issue but with the Z axis added into the mix.

Anon, that is what I was saying. It wasn't as good as the originals and did have some major issues, but I still had a lot of fun and enjoyed it. I honestly do hope it did well enough to either fund a sequel or have enough interest for another kickstarter.
