Oi /vee/, what's a good racing game for PC where I can replace all the tracks or just play Eurobeat over it?

It worked with Burnout Paradise, but I've beaten it like 5 times already.

The handling model is ass and (if you ask me) ruins the entire game, the rest of it is quite nice though.
>>

I heard those are for the enthusiats. I'm a huge ass casual when talking about racing games and cars.

Been wanting to check out Dirt for a while tho. Thanks.

>>388310729
Handling model? Like, the way cars "feel"?

Oh and, if you happen to be in Asia (although i've heard there are some in the US aswell), go look around for Wangan Midnight and Initial D arcade machines, those are amazing fun.
You might struggle a lot with Dirt Rally then, but if you want to feel an authentic rally driving game then you should look no further. That game has the best driving "feel" of any racing game if you ask me.
Dirt 3 is much more arcadey though, so you might wanna have a look at that first.
As for the handling model; In my experience most of the cars end up feeling extremely stiff, and sometimes it even feels like the game is fighting your inputs, trying to steer the cars for you per se.
You can add me on Steam if you've got any more questions.

Thanks dude. I'll grab Dirt 3 then. I have a friend who's a crazy /o/ cunt and he's always insisting on those.

My wife has been emulating this, don't know where she got it though.
Pretty sure it was through /v/ and she has a discord of other people who play online together.

Oh shit, what does she use?

DOn't mean to be one of those "pls spoonfeed"; but I legit didn't know it was even possible to emulate them. Also I don't have a Steering Wheel, do I need one?

Dirt Rally is so fun but it's really hard, takes me like an hour of practicing to finish a track without falling off track, running over people, getting stuck or spinning out. It's amazing when you manage to drift around the track in your E30 without fucking everything up though

Practice makes perfect anon, focus on slow and steady at first instead of fast and dead.
What's your favourite region?
>>
>>388314162
I became okay when I first got the game and played it for 20 hours in a few days but now I'm terrible at it after about 3 months of not playing.
I don't really have a favourite, it would be Monte Carlo cause I like the narrow roads and asphalt but I can't handle the ice that well. Greece can go fuck itself however, too easy to go flying off.

I find that Greece is definitely one of the harder rallies in the game, but once you start to remember some of the corners it becomes a lot more fun.
If i had to pick a favourite it'd probably be Wales, feels like those stages have a bit of everything.
What about favourite car class?
>>
>>388313739
I'll pirate it
>>
>>388314910
I almost exclusively drive the E30, it looks great and it's RWD which is all I need.
I sometimes use the R4 class cars when I don't want to try as hard, they are 4WD and more powerful than the E30 and feel too easy to control in comparison, it doesn't feel as rewarding when I do a good run with them.
>>
>>388312096
I'm going to have to look into this. I worked at an arcade for a time that had the only Arcade Stage 3 cabinet I've ever seen in real life. Course that's where all my "employee free game time" went. Just checked my wallet, still have my card lol.
>>
I know its not trugamer™ to play Microsoft sponsored games but Forza Horizon 3 is amazing. Don't waste your time with the rest of the games though.

This anon is a man of taste, they're pretty easy to Emulate, hell even on a potato I can emulate TXRD 2 pretty well.

3 can be a bit finnicky even on better computers I've heard but even it managed to be playable.
