Always check your GC turn-in fish. At 60, it should usually be something easy like a Thaliak Perch or something. After that, I just stuck with leves from 62-ish until 64. Do the Sea Pickle one once you hit 64. After that, it's a rough spot. Just do whatever collectable is the least painful. And it WILL be painful. After you get to 66, you start getting your good spearfish skills, so do leves again. I did the sea lamp one until 68. At that point, you're home free: pick up the Koromo Octopus leve. At the spot where you get the octopi, you also get Daio Squids, which are a pretty nice collectable. Alternate between collectables and leves until 70. Depending on your server, also go for the cheapest fish on the MB if you're really in a pinch. Your job quests also offer a shit ton of EXP, so always do them when they're available. New skills too. That wasn't very special I know, but I hope it helps.

I really like RDM visuals. They're understated (mostly) in a good way.

But after doing BLM, RDM feels limp. Basic gameplay is braindead. AoE even more so, and the payoff is garbage. Teo buttons and one OGCD...Fucking whoop. That said Vercure/Verraise have saved like every group I'm in as RDM.

BLM AoE is fucking addicting. So much huge explosions. Even after every nerf Flare is the fucking bomb and Foul /Thunder IV are amazing. No other class I've tried has something that feels so satisfying, AoE or ST.

How do you guys get in to the endgame for XIV? I've played every iteration of the game and somehow get to max level then spend my time dicking around or working on crafting or whatever. I've never done the content when it's most relevant. I guess one of the problems is I can't stick to one job either. I leveled SAM to 70 at the launch of SB and now I never want to play it. I spend all my time now crafting or leveling RDM instead.

Well the game literally is in one. Imo these times are the worst times for this game, gear and tomes are so gated you cant really gear up more than on class at once at any decent speed unless you level an alt so you can get pass the ridiculous lock outs the game has. The best times for me have always been when a group of raids are coming to an end and the weekly lock outs ect start to be tossed along with tomes having much larger caps so I can gear up and play multiple classes at a decent level as much as I want.

Should I be popping dps stance while MTing in savage content? I feel so insecure without it, it's like my safety blanket. I'm not sure how much more often I would need to use cooldowns, and what if I end up using too many and don't have them when I need them?
