i finally got around to playing the alpha today and i think i just reached the last fight in Act 1. Whats a decent party set up? i left all the companions with their standard classes and i felt like they did alright apart from the guy who started as a wayfarer (class just seems like trash). I also suffered a bit by having 3 ranged characters and one melee

Not sure how this co-operative, but not really gameplay would work.

Can you solo in Divinity 2. After AoD I'm starting to prefer not having a party.

It's explained in some other videos, how you can choose to play together or not at all, it's part of the design but you need a different mindset to make full use of it I guess, most people are probably going to stick together on their first run.

I think the minimum number of characters in OS1 was the two protagonists.
The story didn't make sense solo.

But solo in this game is stupid, its turn based, you don't need to micro much.

Yeah you can tell the party members you meet to fuck off or not talk to them at all. not sure how hard it would be but after binging AoD again recently having a party is much more relaxing

I'm downloading Fallout 1 and 2 at the moment. I hope I have fun with them. No matter ho hard I try I can never seem to get into traditional crpgs ;_;
