My friend says his favorite Tony Hawk game is THUG 2 because it was less about skateboarding and more about Jackass type stuff. Funny enough that's the reason many long time fans of the THPS series disliked it.

THUG 1 had better levels but THUG 2 had better replayability since the goals weren't completely focused around the story progression and because of classic mode.
