It's one of the quintessential co-op games.
Also, DC Douglas as Albert Wesker is one of the greatest VA performances in video game history.

It can't have worse gameplay than 4 since it's exactly the same with no innovation whatsoever. Still prefer 6 over 5 since I hate what they did to Wesker in 5.

Had cool alternate costumes
Sheva is a qt and not a typical useless woman character
Amazing coop game
Looked pretty nice for its time
Lost in Nightmares delivered the scary part that was missing

I really liked RE5 a whole lot. Qtes were annoying but they were in 4

it was the first resident evil game i've played and my favorite

Bought it at launch, beat it numerous times and sunk dozens of hours into mercenaries.

It just didn't have anything scary in it. The setting in Africa was so ironic. Bathe everything in sunlight, illuminate everything. Completely dissonant with any pretence of being a horror game.

Girlfriend and I have almost completed this entire game. She's horrible at shooters but loved the enemy design and setting so she gave it a chance. Was a ton more fun than when I played it at launch as a kid.

It's a very good coop experience. Once you play it in coop, everything falls into places, especially map design.

I actually agree. 7 was so out of genre it didn't even feel like a Resident Evil game. Overly scripted and designed for obnoxious streamers. RE 6 is....self explanatory
