When it comes IMOQ, they could do a remaster but those games are pretty dated. Been going through them on emulator and the gameplay is very barebones. The atmosphere and plot is pretty damn good though. Personally I'd rather they just re-release the games digitally than do a remaster like with G.U., as atmosphere is a really good part of the older series and all remasters end up fucking it up in some way. Also a full on remaster would really need some gameplay overhalls which would eat up budget, that I'd rather have them spend on a new .hack

Thank fucking god. I tried the first game, and everything in it was really cool except for the atrocious combat. I can usually get past mediocre combat but that is just BAD. If .hack GU can fix that, alongside having a summary of the other 4 games, then it's an insta-purchase for me.
