They're padding for time while they prepare the new seasons for their old shows and the premiere of their new ones. OK KO is holding the fort while they prep Gumball for its transition without Bocquelet and find new shows to replace Regular Show and Adventure Time.

Cartoon Network has a new manager and is doing was Nickelodeon was doing a few years back with Spongebob. Someone in the higher ups said "Teen Titans Go gets more views than any other show, how about we make the entire schedule Teen Titans Go" which if you're a robot doing raw numbers makes sense but then you hurt your overall numbers because there's no mixing of fans and you don't get any spill over of viewers which means yes, Teen Titans Go will still be the most popular thing you show but Teen Titans Go will be preforming like crap if no one is showing up to watch other shows.

I think I heard somewhere part of the reason is to promote their online viewing service, but considering how far you have to dig to hear that they even have an online service is pretty telling that it's not working.
