Anyone who prefers HZD to BotW needs a fucking shotgun blast to the face, their taste is just shitty beyond reproach. I was irritated with HZD's dogshit writing,creepy/awkward characters and "follow the marker" style of exploration the entire game and the SJW shit doused everywhere made it even worse. Then once I realized how shallow the combat actually is I lost all interest and just barely trudged through the story, finishing the game in about a third of the time I spent with BotW not wanting to touch it ever again.

Horizon is purely the Ubisoft-style of open world games that needs to be tossed out the window while BotW is the future; a nicely polished open world game that makes you want to explore.

Well actually no, you will often find something really cool even if the reward isn't the greatest thing ever. Since you don't need to see a damn thing in BotW to finish the game, almost everything you find is a cool extra. If I contrast that to the usual ubisoft open world, you pretty much never get anything for exploring and you don't see anything interesting either. In Horizon all the "exploring" involves following icons to collectibles that aren't worth collecting, and the one time I did explore was to look at the Grave Hoard off in the distance because I thought it looked cool but couldn't do jack shit because it's actually part of a story mission and isn't meant to be visited before then.
