Goddamn this game looks fun.

The one and only thing I have to complain about is monsters fleeing. It was already annoying in previous titles but it looks extra annoying now. It use to be you just chase the monster in the next zone and it stops limping and attacks. In this it looks like it'll try it's best to limp aaaaaall the way back home to sleep. Still, it's literally the only thing I've found to bitch about.

for simple slashy weapons I'd say Insect Glaive and Switch Axe are the most simple
for heavy weapons hammer is the easiest to start with
for ranged weapons bow and light bowgun are more simple than Heavy Bowgun
