If you want Quake then either play QW or Q3. Rest are shit.

Maybe that's because Quake Champions was only "released" a week ago at most. And even then, it's still technically in beta.

Looks cool, and tempted to get it, but may give it a couple of weeks to see what others think of it.

Unreal Tournament is not coming out in any real way for a long time. QC is fine and there's not really any reason not to give it a shot.

Yes, it's pretty good, it's fast paced, gunplay feels right and has most of the classic Quake 3 weapons, maps are good and while champions change up things a bit, some are pretty fun to play and the game mostly relies on your ability with movement and the weapons as well as map knowledge. It had a bumpy launch but servers and matchmaking are doing better now, i hope it gets mor eplayers in the future, because it's easily the most fun modern multiplayer shooter out there.

netcode was pretty bad during closed beta tests, stopped playing it with a "I'll play once they fix that shit" in mind.

Steam launch was total garbage the first day, hard to get any games and people waiting for matches for like 4 mins just to get a timeout error. It's deffinitely much better since yesterday and had no problem getting into games as well, so glad they actually fixed it.
