Its not just the orb fiesta, its the support nature of it, Hunter was always very selective and generally crappy in most raids or any content really cause they brought little the table beyond dps versus the other classes who could bring DPS and support, it was actually a huge fucking problem and the reason nightstalker came to be, it was a support class that could still damage well.

No clue why it got removed for D2, it was the best thing about hunter.

Everyone was pissed Halo 5 took out tons of multiplayer modes, didnt launch with forge or BTB, cut splitscreen, launched with very few maps and most of the free update maps were remixes of those the game launched with.

Everything up to TTK was supposed to be in the base game for destiny, but they chopped it up to sell it back to consumers and that is exactly what is going to happen with destiny 2. The plot will just be a bit more coherent since they planned to do it from the start instead of scrambling to fill in gaps caused by cutting content to be resold later.

Stormcaller (warlock) is the best pvp class by far. It's no contest and anyone who says otherwise is a shitter.

Hunters are the weakest but still really annoying anyway. They have like a sphere around them that they can move around quickly in. They're not fast but they're agile in small spaces.

Titans move fast and hit hard. The only thing. THE ONLY THING that keeps them viable in high level pvp is titan skating. Check it out.

What does Destiny 2 honestly have to offer? Like I want to know what its truly bringing to the table to be called a new game and not just another pass of DLC that just happened to be put as a standalone and got slapped with the label of "Sequel".

I might as well call every CoD game appealing because of this logic, we all know theyre more of the same and yet people keep falling for it. The gameplay is solid but they have yet to offer anything that will make it a refreshing experience that will make up for the first game's horrible lifespan. Personally I wouldn't wave off the first point since a game that offers classes to play as should offer some kind of basis for a player to tweak it to their playstyle to an extent, cutting subclasses and limiting their abilities isn't doing that, its probably why Overwatch itself is stagnating quickly when you compare it to it's older counterpart TF2 where at the very least you could turn a Medic into a Battle Class or an Engineer into a Frontlined force as opposed to a Turtle. Not a WoW player so I can not speak for their Expansions but let me tell you the difference between a FFXIV Raid and this.For Example Alexander the raid for Heavensward, you had The Son, The Father and The Creator each with 4 separate duties in of it themselves offering a story and Savage Counterparts. Not to mention the more casual 24 man raids that also had 3 parts put with them. They definitely have their faults but at the very least they were built upon, though FFXIV suffers from more of the same as well.

Adhering to that means publishing the game despite an upset to the company that was driven by petty politics and writer drama. They also got denied a lot of funding during post-development (at some point they had like 4 coders). IF you don't want to do that because that's kinda foolish, then the only concern is the servers on launch (but they're doing rollback launch so it probably won't be a concern).

Technically it's a two part complaint. Single raid on launch, and then no building upon the raid. However, we've seen that Hard Mode is an idea that they have made more complex over time, going so far as to develop RoI and Taken King's hard modes first. Then you have challenge modes which they managed to implement for all the old raids. I think we'll see some updates for the raid we get, it would be foolish to assume they didn't take that into D2.

The reason the game was in such a bad state was due to the nature of their development studio - Bungie has a compartmentalized design which means each aspect of the game is worked on separately without a large amount of input from the rest of the studio. And this bit them in the ass when it came time to put this shit together and the writers had put together something completely different from what was envisioned. Meaning a lot of scrapped content and rewrites months before release. And I believe that resulted in the lead writer eventually leaving the studio.

Shadow Warrior 2 I guess? It's hard to say to be honest, since 99% of shooters are pretty boring. But I think it's a good enough example since they are in the same genre.

My biggest problems are rifles that go pewpewpew with no impact, almost no verticality in enemy positioning and lack of movement skills.
