Okay, this has nothing to do with the game or gameplay. In fact, I've never played this game before and I have no intention to do so.

Something confuses me a bit about it. Ok, so we have WoW which is said just like "wow." We have genres like "FPS," "RTS," and "JRPG" which are spoken letter-for-letter and sound natural. We even have CS:GO which is hybridized.

But how the fuck do you say "PUBG?" Everytime I see it I can only imagine "Pub Games" which doesn't make me think of anything at all like a shooter. Do you say "pubg" as a word? Are people saying "Pee You Bee Jee" like you would say "Are Tee Ess?" Is it some weird hybrid of the two, perhaps "Pube Guh?" Or is it something else entirely?

I know this is a fucking retarded/autistic thread but I have to know, I don't think the game looks very good and it really starts with this obnoxiously awkward acronym. If it was just "PBG" I could see it, but "PUBG" just no....
