I don't know about you but if you make your game to be e-sports focused, I don't think that it's gonna help your company financially in the long run. It's a really risky practice that only few games somewhat managed to pull it off like LoL and Dota. I find it to be risky because if the e-sport scene dries out, you have nothing but the game itself to carry your company.

From what I've seen, it seems Capcom is trying to cater to the e-sports business possibly thinking that it's their ticket to the end of the rainbow but if they really wanted to make decent amount of money from the get go, don't make the game e-sports focused. Focus the game first and everything else second.

Great in the corner due to throw option selects and Toy Touch
Easy as all hell to use and a strong choice when new to the game.

One idea I had was a Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde character that would be a mode switch character like Gen, or Zelda/Sheik in Smash. A Lamia/Naga might be a nice choice for a new female, you could do all sorts of stuff with the tail. Boa constrictor command grab, coil it up into a spring to jump, etc. Could maybe even work in some Gorgon/Medusa elements, give her snake hair and the ability to turn opponents to stone.
