Is it worth it?
for all that don't know Quake Champions is having early access on PC but only if you buy there champions pack
https://quake.bethesda.net/en/
I plopped down the $30 thinking I was going to regret it but I really enjoy it.
I don't like loot box gambling shit in any form but it is all cosmetic and I have all the champions anyway so I don't even look at the store.
If you already played in the beta with the bethesda launch you can play EA for free on steam. Ill drop dosh on the champions pack if the netcode is sorted out. It causes some real BS moments like direct rockets not hitting. But for the most part its okay.
if you buy the champ pack on steam and refund you keep everything and can play for free using the bethesda client

Too bad the bethesda client is aids
>early access
>all characters only available from champion pack
>exclusive skin
>CUSTOM GAME MODES ONLY AVAILABLE WITH CHAMPION PACK
>loot boxes
RIP Quake.

you could also just buy the champ pack and refund after the game comes out of EA, steam resets the refund timer when a game comes out of EA

Its trying to grow with the industry instead of staying stagnant. Its Quakes last chance to be a big thing and its kinda not doing the greatest.

I've already played on the Bethesda Launcher, how do I use it from Steam?

Also I already have the Champions Pack because I am a kek-o-wald husband.

It's worth it but the game need some big patches, the netcode, the engine, it's still quite rough.
If they can fix the technical issues, I really think this game will be a success.

Not linking the steam page

I'd buy it but it's too hard.
