I feel that's untrue. Super majority likes a bunch of FFs and a sizable minority of them likes nearly a super majority of the entries. I personally get more radicalized in my tastes about the series every year and even then I actually like (not just thinking the game's pretty nifty) II, III, V, VI, VII, BCVII, X-2, XIII-2 and LRXIII, but my experience is that most people here are much more nicer towards the series in general.

Several of the most autistic anons gathered together and built a time machine and travelled to 2057 and found that FF XV was just about finished and got to play it, but it really wasn't finished at all and all Square did was release DLC that sorts of adds some of the content they failed to put in in the first place.

They then used the time machine to go to 2170 and got to play Episode 1 of the FF VII remake which was the first 30 minutes of FF VII dragged like hell with cutscenes and lots of random SOLDIERS thrown at you to pad the game. They went further in the future to play Episode 2 but Japan collapsed due to the invention of female androids and virtual reality waifus so FF VII Remake Episode 2 was never finished since no babies were born and all the elderly Japanese died either fugging androids or hooked to a VR system.

My problem was the lack of control feel and feedback in the combat. I set everyone to do their shit like how I played DA:O. I manually used my character(Van): press attack, he proceeds to stand there in place, waits till a bar charges up then proceeds to automatically hit the enemy then stands in place again...


1 quality of life change and complete fix imo is the option to press x to execute the command after bar charges.

Then it would feel like you are wacking the guy instead of the computer doing it. Dragon Age didn't have this problem because when you pressed a key to do an ability your character immediately did it, there was no atb bar.

The only turn based FF I liked were X and X-2 because they were my first. Crisis Core is my favorite because both the story and combat were great, it felt like I had alot more input. Although Type-0 had a hard time making me care about the story or characters it was still enjoyable because it wasn't turn based. Action is the future and the only people who say otherwise are nostalgic neckbeards with no mechanics or skill so it only brings them frustration.
