I had mine working tip top shape for the longest time til a cousin started visiting then it mysteriously became significantly harder to get games to boot/not freeze constantly, same deal with my N64-- pretty sure my dad (who was supposed to be taking care of her) just slam dunked the carts in or something and had her do the same and she probably ground the fucking connector or some shit
