Couple of students and a teacher trapped in haunted school that was a place of serial murders some years ago.
At the start they get separated and you alternate playing between those groups/couples and try to solve mysteries/puzzles and GTFO alive.
There are many bad ends and game lets you play farther even if you do something the wrong way. Story is divided into chapters so don't worry about fucking up something at the beginning that will bite you in the ass several chapters later, once you got the good end for the chapter you can proceed to the next one.

Because they don't have a reason to. He is the only one who has memories of what happened in heavenly host, he knows that some of them already died and he sees that he won't be able to stop them if he acts normally.

Anyway, doesn't really matter because it's all an alternative reality, not following the true end of first CP, a setup for some more backstories and info.

There's really no good reason why he didn't try to use force to stop them other than "because plot." He didn't even have to hurt anyone, he could've just taken away someone's piece of paper. Just keep something up until the others give up the whole idea. Sure, they'd probably be pissed at him and think he's gone insane, but I'd think that would be a much better alternative than basically repeating Hell again.
